The customer of this white 2015 918 wanted more than just cosmetic updates —they were looking for upgrades that would blend seamlessly with the car’s already impressive engineering while giving it a fresh, aggressive stance. We knew that every element of this build had to enhance the car’s performance and maintain the Porsche spirit.
One of the key areas we focused on for this build was the Boden Stage 2 exhaust system. This wasn’t just about adding sound — it was about refining the experience. The custom x-pipe exhaust, designed specifically for the 918, was ceramic coated to handle extreme heat and increase longevity. To push things even further, we added gold heat shielding, an important upgrade to protect the surrounding components from excessive heat. This isn’t just about making the car louder — it’s about giving it the performance and protection it deserves.
Paired with a Stage 2 software update, the 918 now boasts additional horsepower and torque, making the most of its naturally aspirated engine. This recalibration ensures that every ounce of potential is squeezed out, without compromising the car’s balance or handling.
Visually, we wanted to match the performance upgrades with a more aggressive aesthetic. First, we refinished the wheels, switching from the factory silver to a sleek gloss black. The new finish transformed the car’s look, giving it a sharper, more defined presence on the road.
Next, we focused on restoring the carbon fiber front lip. After years of wear, it needed a bit of care to bring it back to its original form. We refinished it, ensuring it fit perfectly with the rest of the bodywork. Now, the front end looks like it just rolled off the factory floor—only more aggressive.
To add a final touch to the exterior, we paint-matched the front and rear reflectors to the car’s OEM white, creating a seamless, uninterrupted finish that further enhances the car’s clean lines.
The customer also wanted to put their own personal stamp on the 918 with a custom brake caliper color change. We switched the factory silver calipers to gloss white with black Porsche logos. This subtle change adds contrast to the wheels and reinforces the sleek, monochromatic styling of the build.
For handling, we adjusted the factory suspension, lowering the car just enough to improve its stance without sacrificing driveability. Paired with a precise four-wheel alignment, the result is sharper cornering and better handling overall.
Finally, we added nanoceramic window tint to protect the interior from UV damage and maintain cooler temperatures inside. It also adds a layer of privacy and finishes the car’s exterior look.
